Semi Final Baby!!  In every sense of those words!  Can you believe we all got to paint the one and only Emma Bunton, Baby Spice herself!  My goodness, what a star! We couldn’t believe it when Emma walked out with all her beautiful smiley kind glamourous self – what a joy she was, and what a day this was, in such brilliant company with these incredible artists.   Sadly, my PAOTY journey ended here – I took a gamble by sizing up my work, and in the end it didn’t quite pay off.  Honestly, I’d been so delighted to win the Heat stage, that this all felt like a bonus and I wanted to really push myself… 

An A1 full portrait is quite the thing (it was pretty much the size of Emma’s whole self!) but I’m really proud of what I achieved and for being brave – I’ve never been known for taking the easy option, and you’ve got to try haven’t you!  So I did go big, and then I went home hehe.     So super proud of Wendy, Lorena and Davide who absolutely deserve to move onto the next stage with their beautiful paintings!  As for me, I’m going to have a nice cuppa and enjoy watching the rest of the series from my sofa!  (I might have my Team Wendy t-shirt on but shhh don’t tell anyone :))     

A massive thank you to the Production team and crew at Storyvault who manage to keep all of us wobbly artists holding it together!  They are an amazing team of people, and boy what an adventure!!   To anyone considering it, I would really recommend giving it a go – its like a rollercoaster of emotions but you’ll be amazed with what you achieve!  Do it!! x
